Cornelia Moore Dental Building
Our office is located in a beautiful historic dental complex built in 1927 by Charles Moore, DDS. Its Spanish Revival Architecture utilizes original roof tiles from the Santa Barbara mission, destroyed by the 1926 earthquake. These tiles show finger marks of the Chumash Indians who formed them by hand molding clay over their legs. The building has been designated a national and Santa Barbara historic monument and has won many awards for landscaping excellence. It was placed in trust in memory of Dr. Moore’s wife, Cornelia. The Cornelia Moore Trust continues to benefit the dental health of the children of Santa Barbara.
